Ratu Port/ Pelabuhan Ratu (West Java, Indonesia)

Pelabuhan Ratu, that's the name of the beach is located approximately 60 miles south of Sukabumi this. This beach is one of the attractions of pride Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Tourism is pretty well known thanks to the beautiful natural panorama, the air is cool, and the vast expanse of sand.

 

In addition to its natural beauty, Pelabuhan Ratu beach is also famous for its sea party, namely melarungkan head of buffalo and other offerings into the sea. Tradition is organized by local fishermen every April 5, once a year. This tradition is an expression of gratitude to God for the gift that has been given in the form of fish catches. Marine party event is usually accompanied by various activities such as social service, competitions, entertainment and performances (puppet, dangdut, bands, dances, etc.).
