Monumment National (Jakarta, Indonesia)

In the outer courtyard surrounding the monument, on each corner there are reliefs depicting the history of Indonesia arise. Relief is originated in the northeast corner of the archipelago perpetuate the glory of the past; showcases the history Singhasari and Majapahit. This relief continues chronologically clockwise toward the southeast corner, southwest, and northwest. Chronologically describe the Dutch colonial period, the resistance of the people of Indonesia and Indonesia's national heroes, who fight for the establishment of a modern organization independent Indonesia in the early 20th century, the Youth Pledge, the Japanese Occupation and World War II, Indonesia's independence proclamation followed the Revolution and War of Independence of the Republic Indonesia, until it reaches the development of modern Indonesia. Reliefs and statues are made of cement or metal pipe with the frame, unfortunately some of the sculptures and statues began to fall out and damaged by rain and tropical weather.
